STEVEN TAYLOR | President and Founder

Steven founded Ness Holdings in 2008.  He possesses vast experience in the Southern California real estate market and has completed over US$500 million in sales totaling nearly one billion square feet. He has served as Vice President of GVA Daum’s Los Angeles office, one of the region’s premier commercial real estate firms.  During his time there, he has been consistently recognized as one of the firm’s top producers in terms of transaction volume and value. Additionally, he is responsible for completing the largest industrial lease in the history of downtown Los Angeles at an excess of US$50 million dollars.  Currently, Steven manages Ness’ portfolio and is responsible for all major investment and operational decisions.  Upon Ness’s establishment in late 2008, the company has amassed a substantial portfolio and continues to grow at an exponential pace. 

Steven holds a BA from the University of California Santa Barbara and currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two daughters.

DANIEL MENSE | Vice President / Managing Director

Daniel worked for several years at Blatteis & Schnur, Inc., a Los Angeles-based boutique Private Equity firm focused on investing in class “A” commercial properties. During his tenure, he co-managed a US$200 million fund established with several national institutions and private investors to acquire high-end real estate throughout the US.  His responsibilities included sourcing deals, analyzing potential investments, and managing properties.  Subsequently, Daniel joined the Financial Advisory team at KPMG, where he spent time working in Tel Aviv, Israel. He was involved on several major transactions, where he prepared valuation models and negotiated deal terms, totaling over US$1 billion.

Currently, Daniel is a Director at Ness where he is responsible for sourcing deals, analyzing investment opportunities, and managing development projects.  Daniel graduated with a B.B.A. in Finance and Corporate Strategy from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan with distinction and a B.A. in Piano Performance and Music Composition.
